TD may combine brackets as needed to ensure quality play. \nThere are 4 permanent pickleball courts and 16 temporary pickleball courts \nBracket Formats \n3 teams/players (only if necessary\, we will try to combine any 3 team/player divisions with the closest age division possible)\n– Double-RR\, games 1 to 15\n– Top 2 teams advanced to Gold Medal match\, – Gold – 2/3 to 11 optional (one game to 15 win by 2 is an option as well\, if the decision of which format to play is not unanimous then a coin toss will decide the format)\n– 3rd place team automatically receives Bronze medal \n4 team bracket\n– Single RR\, games 1 to 15\n– Semi-final (all 4 teams) – 1 to 15\n– Bronze – 1 to 15\n– Gold – 2/3 to 11 optional (one game to 15 win by 2 is an option as well\, if the decision of which format to play is not unanimous then a coin toss will decide the format) \n5-6 team bracket\n– Single-RR\, games 1 to 15\n– Semi-final (top 4 teams) – 1 to 15\n– Bronze – 1 to 15\n– Gold – 2/3 to 11 optional (one game to 15 win by 2 is an option as well\, if the decision of which format to play is not unanimous then a coin toss will decide the format) \n7 team brackets\n– Single-RR\, games 1 to 11\n– Semi-final (top 4 teams) – 1 to 15\n– Bronze – 1 to 15\n– Gold – 2/3 to 11 optional (one game to 15 win by 2 is an option as well\, if the decision of which format to play is not unanimous then a coin toss will decide the format) \n8-9 team bracket\n– 2 pools\, Single-RR\, games 1 to 15\n– Semi-final (top 2 teams from each pool) – 1 to 15\n– Bronze – 1 to 15\n– Gold – 2/3 to 11 optional (one game to 15 win by 2 is an option as well\, if the decision of which format to play is not unanimous then a coin toss will decide the format) \n10-12 team bracket\n– 2 pools\, Single-RR\, games 1 to 15\n– Semi-final (top 2 teams from each pool) – 1 to 15\n– Bronze – 1 to 15\n– Gold – 2/3 to 11 optional (one game to 15 win by 2 is an option as well\, if the decision of which format to play is not unanimous then a coin toss will decide the format) \nRatings\nPlease make sure your rating is correct. Players have the sole responsibility to maintain their self-rating accurately in each division\, you will be put into the bracket indicated in your profile. \nWe do not use DUPR ratings as we have no easy way to cross-reference registered players with possible DUPR ratings. \nDUPR Results Submission – Results WILL NOT be submitted to DUPR. \nPlayers may only play up in skill 1.0 from their profile rating. Tournament Director reserves the right to correct underrated players. \n\n\nAdditional Information\nThis is a fundraiser tournament for the Thurston County Pickleball Club as a registered 501(c)3 non-profit dedicated to the enjoyment and growth of Pickleball in Thurston County\, WA. Funds from this tournament will be used to expand courts\, facilities\, and access to Pickleball in the Lacey/Olympia area. \nPayment is required to register – Early registration $50 + $15/event through Apr 1. Standard registration $65 + $15/event through May 31. Beginning Jun1\, late registration will be $80 + $15/event.
