DESCRIPTION:Tournament Description\n\n\nWelcome to Pickleball Association Kauai’s 2025 PAK Open\n****REBATE FOR CURRENT MEMBERS $20 in cash at tournament)****\n\nRegister: https://pickleballtournaments.com/tournaments/2025-pak-open-by-pig\n\n\nFriday\, August 8th: Senior Men’s and Women’s Doubles; Men’s and Women’s Singles (UNDER 50)\nSaturday\, August 9th: Men’s and Women’s Doubles (UNDER 50); Senior Men’s and Women’s Singles\nSunday\, August 10th: Senior Mixed Doubles; Mixed Doubles; Juniors Scramble\n\nThere will be a limit of 10 teams per skill level/age bracket. The number of teams may be adjusted depending on the total number of teams participating. Registration may close at anytime if the daily capacity is reached.\n\n\n\n\nAdditional Information\n\n\n– Brackets will be made up by skill first\, then age – age breaks are determined by registration\n\n– Tournament Director reserves the right to change the format of play based on participation or weather conditions.\n\n– In the event of weather circumstances\, every effort will be made to complete all matches. However\, due to unpredictable weather conditions adjustments and/or cancellations are possible. There is no provision for indoor play or a makeup day beyond the announced tournament schedule.\n\n– Format – All brackets will be round robin format with playoffs for Gold/Silver/Bronze medals\n\nRound Robin results will be determined following the USA Pickleball rule book:\n\n12.C.3. Round Robin. All players or teams play each other. Games may use any of the approved tournament scoring options. (See Rule 12.B.) The winner is determined based on number of matches won. If two or more teams are tied:\n\n12.C.3.a. First tie-breaker: head-to-head matches won.\n\n12.C.3.b. Second tie-breaker: point differential of all games played. (e.g.\, Team A won Match 1 11-8\, 11-4\, so they would have a point differential of +10. Team A then wins the second match 11-9\, 2-11\, 11-6. For this round\, they would have a point differential of -2. This would give them a total for the day of +8.)\n\n12.C.3.c. Third tie-breaker: head-to-head point differential.\n\n12.C.3.d. Fourth tie-breaker: point differential against next-highest team. (e.g.\, If the teams are tied for second\, use point differentials against the first-place team.)\n\nCombined Brackets:\nIf brackets are combined\, they will be combined by skill level first\, then age.\n\nPickleball Is Great reserves the right to refuse service at anytime.\n\n\n\n\nRefund Policy\n\n\nFinal date to withdraw and receive a refund of your paid registration (less service fee) is July 31\, 2025. No refund requests will be accepted after the final cancellation date.
