DESCRIPTION:Tournament Description\n\n\nThis is fund-raiser for St Baldrick’s\, an organization devoted to childhood cancer research.(https://www.stbaldricks.org/) Please consider making a donation with your registration.\n\nRegister: https://pickleballtournaments.com/tournaments/2025-st-baldricks-pickleball-tournament-by-pig\n\nPlayers to receive a great swag bag including many freebies such as a free haircut\, free fitness coaching sessions at NW Fitness\, free pass to Columbia Outlet Store\, and more!\n\nRound Robin format (skill/age) WITH playoffs for Gold/Silver/Bronze for skills 3.0-4.5+. Age brackets will be determined following the close of registration\, but will strive to be close to under 50\, 50-59\, & 60+ events.\n\nNumber of total matches will be determined by number of players in the event. This may change up to the time of play as “life” happens to players and facility requests may be made. Players are guaranteed a minimum of 3 matches.\n\n***Ratings:\n• Even though DUPR is the primary rating listed for public view\, we are using DUPR only as a guideline. All rating systems have their pros and cons. Players will self-rate\n• Please update your self-rating in your software profile before you register. You may only play up .5 from your self-rating\n• If you feel that a player is playing out of their skill\, please contact the tournament director. We will then evaluate tournament history and various ratings (including DUPR) to determine if a player/team needs to play at a different skill. Please be aware that this is a manual process and does not happen automatically\n\nFriday – Women’s Doubles / Men’s Skinny Singles\nSaturday – Mixed Doubles\nSunday – Men’s Doubles / Women’s Skinny Singles\n\n\n\n\nAdditional Information\n\n\nPayment is required to register – Early registration $45 + $15/event through May 31. Standard registration $60 + $15/event through July 9.\nYouth (17 and Under) may use a $20 discount code at checkout – Youth20\n\nDeadline – July 9th\n\nFormat:\nALL Round Robin games/matches are win by 2.\nMost Round Robins are 1 to 15 but may change based on the number of players in the event.
