DESCRIPTION:Tournament Description\n\n\nSave the Date for Cascadia Pickleball Zone’s first tournament (July 18-19)\n\nJoin us as we celebrate Cascadia Pickleball Zone’s 1-Year Anniversary with a weekend of competitive pickleball on the Southern Oregon Coast.\nTurn it into a coastal getaway—play pickleball\, explore beautiful beaches\, and take in the scenic Southern Oregon coast. Very limited on-site RV parking available for tournament players – $25 per night\, no hookups. Email cascadiapickleballzone@gmail.com for availability and details.\n\nRound Robin format WITH playoffs for Gold/Silver/Bronze for skills 3.0-4.0+. Final age brackets will be determined following the close of registration\, but will strive to be close to under 50 / 50+\n\n***Very Important – Ratings (NO DUPR scores reported/DUPR NOT required):\n• Even though DUPR is the only rating listed for public view\, we are using DUPR only as a guideline. All rating systems have their pros and cons. Players will self-rate and we will also be using your previous tournament history as our determinant\n• Please update your self-rating in your software profile before you register. You may only play up .5 from your self-rating\n• If you feel that a player is playing out of their skill\, please contact the tournament director. We will then evaluate tournament history and various ratings (including DUPR) to determine if a player/team needs to play at a different skill. All games/matches are win by 2\nMost Round Robins are 1 to 15 but may change based on the number of players in the event. If an event has 7 or 8 teams\, round-robin matches will be 1 to 11 by 2.\nTop 4 teams go to the playoff (Lead in matches are 1 to 15 with the Gold Match with the option of 2/3-11w/2 or 1 to 15. Bronze Match 1 to 15.\n\nTD may combine brackets as needed to ensure quality play.\nTournament may close at any time if maximum daily numbers are met (even if some events appear to have openings)\n\n\n\n\nRefund Policy\n\n\n$15 refund fee.
