DESCRIPTION:Tournament Description\n\n\nQualifying year for the 2027 Nationals Senior Games in Tulsa OK\n\nRound Robin format WITH playoffs for Gold/Silver/Bronze for Recreational (3.0 and Under)\, Intermediate (3.5) and Advanced (4.0 and Above) events for players 50 and above. Age events each 5 years within the three skill events (recreational\, intermediate and advanced).\n\nNo membership is required\, but if you have your USSP membership number in your profile\, you will get a $10 Refund Instructions for adding your membership number to your profile – https://www.usseniorpickleball.com/pb-ussp-training \nRegister: https://pickleballtournaments.com/tournaments/2026-washington-state-senior-games-pickleball-tournament-ussp-by-pig\n\nEarly registration $55 + event fee (through May 31)\nBeginning June 1\, registration will increase to $65+ event fee\nAny registration made following close of registration (beginning July 30) will be $80 + event fee\nEvent fee: $20 for Mixed and Doubles events\, $25 for singles events\n\n**IMPORTANT – Ratings\n* Even though DUPR is the only rating listed for public view\, we are only using DUPR when there is a significant discrepancy. If players have a USSP rating then that is what is used. If players do not have a USSP rating then the self-rating is used.\n* Please update your self-rating in your software profile before you register. You may only play up 1 from your rating.\n* Scores are reported to DUPR\n*. If you feel that a player is playing out of their skill\, please contact the tournament director. We will then evaluate available data to determine if a player/team needs to play at a different skill. Please be aware that this is a manual process and does not happen automatically.\n\nUsing the Selkirk ProS1 ball\n\n\n\n\nAdditional Information\n\n\nThursday – Women’s Doubles\nFriday – Mixed Doubles\nSaturday – Men’s Doubles\nSunday – Men’s Singles & Women’s Singles\n\nBracket Formats:\n3 teams/players (only if necessary\, we will try to combine any 3 team/player divisions with the closest age division possible)\n– Double-RR\, games 1 to 15\n– Top 2 teams advanced to Gold Medal match\n– 3rd place team automatically receives Bronze medal\n– Gold – 1 to 15\n4-5 teams/players\n– Single RR\, games 1 to 15\n– Semi-final (4 teams) – 1 to 15\n– Bronze – 1 to 15\n– Gold – 1 to 15\n6-7 teams/players\n– Single-RR\, games 1 to 11\n– Semi-final (top 4 teams) – 1 to 15\n– Bronze – 1 to 15\n– Gold – 1 to 15\n\nBrackets of 8 or more teams will play 2 pools and the formats will be as above. The top 2 teams from each pool will advance to semi-finals.\n\nOptional $10 shirt at registration – please select your size carefully\n\nOutdoor Age/Skill tournament on tennis surface. Age/Skill – age groups as primary determinate within skill events (recreational\, intermediate\, or advanced)\n\nWSSG reserves the right to refuse service at anytime\n\nUSSP has a points system to award prizes to the top finishers each year. In the past\, prizes with a retail value of $20\,000 were awarded to the top 10-point winners in each age group for both men and women on an annual cycle.
