DESCRIPTION:Tournament Description\n\n\nREQUIREMENTS: All players must have a USA Pickleball membership at the Challenger ($12/yr) or Champion level. Please visit https://usapickleball.org/ to join or renew your membership.\n\nThis tournament is sanctioned by USA Pickleball.\n\nRegister: https://pickleballtournaments.com/tournaments/2027-march-pnw-pig-chase-by-pig-prize-money-events-available\nRegister in November/December for $25 + event fees (each player)\nRegister in January/February for $45 + event fees (each player)\nRegister in March for $60 + event fees (each player)\nDoubles event fee (Amateur) is $20 each\nSingles event fee (Amateur) is $30 each\nDoubles event fee ($$$) $50 each\n\nDUPR required for all players – be sure your player profile is up to date…\nYou may not play below your DUPR rating. Scores will be reported to DUPR\n\nIndoor play on up to 9 temporary courts on a tennis surface\n\nIt is the player’s responsibility to know if their paddle is on the Approved Equipment List: https://equipment.usapickleball.org/\nUsing the Franklin X40 Ball\n\nSchedule will be posted approximately 5 days before the tournament starts.\nPickleball Is Great reserves the right to refuse service at anytime\n\n\n\n\nAdditional Information\n\n\nRound Robin format (skill/age) WITH playoffs for Gold/Silver/Bronze for skills 3.0-4.5+. Age brackets for amateur events will be determined following the close of registration\, but will strive to be close to under 50\, 50-59\, & 60+ events.\nPrize money events. These events are geared toward the 4.0+ player. Minimum of 4 teams for payout. ALL DUPR scores reported for the prize money.\n\nPayment is required to register – Early registration (November/December) $25 + $20/event. Standard registration (January/February) $45 + $20/event. Late registration (March) will be $60 + $20/event.\n\nPartner must register within 7 days or be moved to the waitlist\n(Final age breaks based on registration\, but will strive to be close to under 50\, 50+\, 60+)\n\nFriday – Women’s Doubles / Men’s Singles\nSaturday – Mixed Doubles\nSunday – Men’s Doubles / Women’s Singles\n\nFormat:\nALL Round Robin with playoffs for Gold/Silver/Bronze. All games/matches are win by 2\nMost Round Robins are 1 to 15 but may change based on the number of players in the event. If an event has 7 or 8 teams\, round-robin matches will be 1 to 11 by 2.\nTop 4 teams go to the playoff (Lead in matches are 1 to 15 with the Gold Match with the option of 2/3-11w/2 or 1 to 15. Bronze Match 1 to 15.\nTD may combine brackets as needed to ensure quality play.\nTournament may close at any time if maximum daily numbers are met (even if some events appear to have openings)\n\nIf players are caught using incorrect/multiple DUPR accounts the tournament director has the right to move players to correct brackets or terminate their registration without a refund.\n\n\n\n\nRefund Policy\n\n\n$15 Admin fee minimum for all withdrawals\nNo refunds after close of registration\nIf any event is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances there will be up to a 50% refund\n\nSoftware service fees are not refundable\, even if the tournament/event is cancelled.\n\n\n\n\n\nPrize Money\n\n\nMinimum prize pool of $500 for 4 teams in Doubles events. TOP 2 PAY\n\n8 teams in Doubles events will be a $1000 prize pool\, and the format will follow PMB (PICKLE MONEY BALL) POOL PLAY – ALL MOVE FORWARD TO SUDDEN DEATH\n\nDOUBLES\n8 TEAMS PAY 4 PLACES $1000 PRIZE POOL\n12 TEAMS PAY 6 PLACES $1500 PRIZE POOL\n16 TEAMS PAY 8 PLACES $2000 PRIZE POOL
