DESCRIPTION:Tournament Description\n\n\nSave the date! Aug 28-30 for the MI Rotary & BPC End-of-Summer Pickleball Tournament. More details coming soon\n\nRound Robin format (skill/age) WITH playoffs for Gold/Silver/Bronze for skills 3.0-4.5+. Age brackets will be determined following the close of registration\, but will strive to be close to under 50 & 50+ events.\n\n***Ratings:\n• Even though DUPR is the only rating listed for public view\, we are using DUPR only as a guideline. All rating systems have their pros and cons. Players will self-rate\n• Please update your self-rating in your software profile before you register. You may only play up .5 from your self-rating\n• If you feel that a player is playing out of their skill\, please contact the tournament director using the “contact tourney” button. We will then evaluate tournament history and various ratings (including DUPR) to determine if a player/team needs to play at a different skill. Please be aware that this is a manual process and does not happen automatically\n\n\n\nAll paddles must be USAP sanctioned tournament approved.\n\nFriday – Women’s Doubles & Men’s Singles\nSaturday – Mixed Doubles\nSunday – Men’s Doubles & Women’s Singles\n\n\n\n\nAdditional Information\n\n\nPayment is required to register –\nRegister: https://pickleballtournaments.com/tournaments/mi-rotary-and-bpc-end-of-summer-pickleball-tournament-by-pig\n\nFormat:\nALL Round Robin with playoffs for Gold/Silver/Bronze. All games/matches are win by 2\nMost Round Robins are 1 to 15 but may change based on the number of players in the event. If an event has 7 or 8 teams\, round-robin matches will be 1 to 11 by 2.\nTop 4 teams go to the playoff (Lead in matches are 1 to 15 with the Gold Match with the option of 2/3-11w/2 or 1 to 15.
