DESCRIPTION:Tournament Description\n\n\nWe encourage you to join us for this fund-raiser tournament which continues to honor Kaite Davis by providing high school scholarships. Sign up with a partner for the Round Robin (skill/age) WITH playoffs for Gold/Silver/Bronze for skills 3.5-4.5+.\nOr without needing a partner for a Friday Jamboree/Scramble in either the 3.0 Gender-Neutral Scramble\, or the 70+ Age \nRegister: https://pickleballtournaments.com/tournaments/7th-annual-kaite-davis-memorial-tournament-by-pig\n\n***Very Important – Ratings (NO DUPR scores reported/DUPR NOT required):\n• Even though DUPR is the only rating listed for public view\, we are using DUPR only as a guideline. All rating systems have their pros and cons. Players will self-rate and we will also be using your previous tournament history as our determinant\n• Please update your self-rating in your software profile before you register. You may only play up .5 from your self-rating\n• If you feel that a player is playing out of their skill\, please contact the tournament director. We will then evaluate tournament history and various ratings (including DUPR) to determine if a player/team needs to play at a different skill. Please be aware that this is a manual process and does not happen automatically\n\nOutdoor play on up to 14 courts on a tennis surface (9 permanent courts / 5 temporary)\n\nPickleball Is Great reserves the right to refuse service at anytime\n\nUsing the X-40 ball\n\n\n\n\nAdditional Information\n\n\nPayment is required to register – Registration $60 includes the 1st event. Second event $10\n\nPartner must register within 7 days or be moved to the waitlist\n\nFriday\, May 15 – Coed Singles\nFriday\, May 15 – (3.0) Gender-Neutral Doubles & (70+) Scramble\nSaturday\, May 16 – Men’s & Women’s Doubles (skills 3.5-4.5+)\nSunday\, May 17 – Mixed Doubles (skills 3.0-4.5+)\n\nFormat:\nALL Round Robin with playoffs for Gold/Silver/Bronze. All games/matches are win by 2\nMost Round Robins are 1 to 15 but may change based on the number of players in the event. If an event has 7 or 8 teams\, round-robin matches will be 1 to 11 by 2.\nTop 4 teams go to the playoff (Lead in matches are 1 to 15 with the Gold Match with the option of 2/3-11w/2 or 1 to 15.
