DESCRIPTION:Tournament Description\n\n\n\nCome join the fun at Wapato Point Resort located in Manson Washington\, nestled along beautiful Lake Chelan\, for our 2025 spring “Shake n Bake on the Lake” pb tournament. All events will be round robin format with playoffs. We’re also excited to announce that in addition to the Open events\, all amateur events will have some prize money too!\n\nRegister: https://pickleballtournaments.com/tournaments/prize-money-2025-wapato-point-resort-spring-pickleball-open-by-pig\n\n\n\nWe have 8 dedicated pickleball courts and another 6 temporary courts with ample viewing for all players & visitors.\nThere will be an on-site food truck\, a beer & wine garden\, music\, raffle\, and more.\n\nLocal lodging providers have partnered with us to offer amazing discounts on accommodations from economy to luxury units\, most of which are within walking distance of the tournament courts.\n\nTD may add or combine age/skill groups based on participation\n\nPlayers will self-rate and can not play lower than their Pickleball Brackets rating (PBR) or DUPR. Players may only play up in skill .5 from their profile rating. Tournament Director reserves the right to correct underrated players.\n\nIf you note a player playing lower than their skill rating\, please use the contact tourney button above to let the tournament director know.\n\n\n\n\n\nAdditional Information\n\n\n\n**Juniors (17 and Under) – $25 with discount code JUNIOR at checkout***\n\nEach player is responsible to register and pay –\nEarly registration – $50 + event fee through Mar 2\nStandard registration – $60 + event fee through Apr 13\nLate registration $75 + event fee beginning Apr 14\n\nALL GOLD medalists will earn free registration for Wapato’s 2025 fall tournament!\n\nEvent fees:\nOpen/Pro events – $60\nAmateur events – $30\n\nSchedule:\nFriday – Women’s Doubles / Men’s Singles\nSaturday – Mixed Doubles\nSunday – Men’s Doubles / Women’s Singles\n\nFormat:\nALL Round Robin games/matches are win by 2.\nMost Round Robins are 1 to 15 but may change based on the number of players in the event. If an event has 7 or 8 teams\, round-robin matches will be 1 to 11 by 2.\nTop 4 teams go to the playoff (1st & 2nd seeds to play Gold Match. 3rd & 4th seeds to play Bronze Match.\n\nMust use only paddles approved by USA Pickleball – https://equipment.usapickleball.org/paddle-list/\n\nNo referees.
