DESCRIPTION:Description\nThe 2024 Bay Area Encore Senior Games Pickleball Tournament is an Age based tournament for Players 50 and up. This is a Qualifier event for the NSGA in 2025 in Des Moines\, Iowa. \nRegister: https://pickleballbrackets.com/ptd.aspx?eid=cbd007b5-fed8-4834-8477-56faa624f85d \nALL ROUND ROBIN with PLAYOFFS for gold/silver/bronze medals \nThe three skill levels of Recreational (3.0) & Intermediate (3.5) & Advanced (4.0+) follows the National Senior Games rules. The age groups are 50-54\, 55-59\, 60-64\, 65-69\, 70-74\, 75-79\, 80-84\, 85-89\, & 90+ \nThe FUN (2.5/3.0) division is non qualifying \nYou are eligible to play if you will be 50 on or before Dec 31\, 2024 \nPLAYERS CAN ONLY PLAY IN ONE DIVSION PER DAY\nPLAYERS CAN ONLY EARN ONE MEDAL PER DAY \nFriday\, August 30th – FULL Men’s and Women’s Singles \nSaturday\, August 31st – Men’s Doubles \nSunday\, September 1st – Mixed Doubles \nMonday\, September 2nd – Women’s Doubles \nUSSP – MORE IN 2024 – EACH REGISTERED PLAYER THAT PLAYS THIS TOURNAMENT WILL RECEIVE A FREE USSP MEMBERSHIP. ONLY NEW MEMBERS ARE ELIGIBLE. CURRENT AND PAST MEMBERS ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR THIS PROMOTION. \nNo Membership in any association is required for registration. \nThis tournament is US Senior Pickleball approved. \nTo join USSP\, go to USSeniorPickleball.com\, only $20 per year. Multi-year payment discounts available. \nUSSP members will receive a $10 discount off the registration fee (If you add your membership# in your profile of pickleballbrackets.com) and are eligible for points and prizes. Go to the USSP website listed above for more information on the points system. \n\n\nAdditional Information\nRegistration Fee for the 2024 Bay Area Encore Senior Games: NEW EARLY REGISTRATION $55 per person if you pay and register in May. The fee is $65 per person and $15 per event for June. July is $80 per person plus the event fees. If you have already registered (for another 2023 BASG sports event – such as track & field\, swimming\, racquetball\, etc.) on the 2023 Bay Area Encore Senior Games website\, please do not pay the $65 BASG registration fee again on pickleballbrackets.com. You will only need to pay $15 per additional event.
