SUMMARY:2025 Oregon Senior Games - a USSP Circuit Event by PIG
DESCRIPTION:Tournament Description\n\n\n\nAug 14-18 – No USSP membership required\, but if you are a current USSP member\, make sure your membership number is in your pickleballbrackets.com profile to receive $10 off at registration. You MUST have your membership number in your profile before you register to get the $10 off!\n\nRegister: https://pickleballtournaments.com/tournaments/2025-oregon-senior-games-presented-by-providence-health-plan-a-ussp-circuit-event-by-pig\n\nThis is a non-qualifying year for the Senior Games.\nThis tournament is based on Age/Skill – age groups as primary determinate within skill events (recreational or advanced)\n\nFun Round Robin format WITH playoffs for Gold/Silver/Bronze for Recreational (2.5 to 3.5) and Advanced (4.0 to 5.0) events for players 50 and above. Age events each 5 years within the two skill events (recreational and advanced). TD may combine age brackets as needed to ensure quality play.\n\nEarly registration $45 + $15/event (through May 31)\nBeginning June 1\, registration will increase to $60 + $15/event\n\nRatings (USSP ratings will be used\, but if no USSP rating then see below)\n• Even though DUPR is the only rating listed for public view\, we are using DUPR only as a guideline. All rating systems have their pros and cons. Players will self-rate and we will also be using your previous tournament rating (PBR) as our determinant\n• Please update your self-rating in your software profile before you register. You may only play up .5 from your self-rating\n• If you feel that a player is playing out of their skill\, please contact the tournament director. We will then evaluate tournament history and various ratings (including DUPR) to determine if a player/team needs to play at a different skill. Please be aware that this is a manual process and does not happen automatically\n\nUsing the Franklin X-40 ball\n\n\n\n\nAdditional Information\n\n\n\nThursday – Women’s Doubles\nFriday – Men’s Doubles\nSaturday – Mixed Doubles (Recreational 2.5-3.5)\nSunday – Mixed Doubles (Advanced 4.0+)\nMonday – Men’s & Women’s Singles (full court)\n\nOutdoor Age/Skill tournament on tennis surface.\nAge/Skill – age groups as primary determinate within skill events (recreational or advanced)\n\nFormat:\nALL Round Robin with playoffs for Gold/Silver/Bronze. All games/matches are win by 2\nMost Round Robins are 1 to 15 but may change based on the number of players in the event. If an event has 7 or 8 teams\, round-robin matches will be 1 to 11 by 2.\nTop 4 teams go to the playoff (Lead in matches are 1 to 15 with the Gold Match with the option of 2/3-11w/2 or 1 to 15. Bronze Match 1 to 15.\nTD may combine brackets as needed to ensure quality play.\nTournament may close at any time if maximum daily numbers are met (even if some events appear to have openings)\n\nPickleball Is Great reserves the right to refuse service at anytime.\n\n\n\n\nRefund Policy\n\n\n\n$15 Admin fee minimum for all withdrawals.
