DESCRIPTION:Tournament Description\n\n\nUSSP thanks our tournament partner\, Pickleball Is Great for providing operational support for the 2025 USSP West Regional Championship presented by Humana powered by Pickleball Is Great.\n\nRegister: https://pickleballtournaments.com/tournaments/2025-ussp-west-regional-championship-presented-by-humana\n\nA special thank you to Humana for being the title sponsor for the USSP Championship Series of tournaments for 2025.\n\nUSSP West Regional Championship is an Age/Skill tournament for ages 50+. Events will be held for Men’s and Women’s singles and doubles as well as Mixed Doubles. After registration closes\, events will be split into 5-year age/skill groups for medaling purposes. Age groups/skill levels may be combined for bracketing. ALL EVENT BRACKET DETAILS ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE BASED ON REGISTRATION. PLEASE REVIEW ONCE EVENTS HAVE BEEN VERIFIED.\n\nRegistration is $65\, plus $15 for each doubles event. Singles events are $20 each.\nUSSP/SSIPA members will receive a $10 discount IF the player has their USSP Membership number in the player profile in pickleballbrackets.com. Please don’t forget to select the USSP Club on your profile.\n\nRegistration opens on August 1st and closes on October 31\, 2025.\n\nThis tournament is US Senior Pickleball approved.\n\nTo join USSP\, go to USSeniorPickleball.com\, only $20 per year. Multi-year payment discounts available.\n\nThe tournament will limit registration to 750 players\, or when the tournament director deems the day’s events are full.\n\nBrackets/Events will be round robin with pool play for events with large numbers of teams\, single elimination brackets to follow. Players are guaranteed 4 matches per event. More play for your money\n\n\n\n\nAdditional Information\n\n\nCurrent US Senior Pickleball Members save $10 at every US Senior Pickleball tournament\n\nThursday 11/13 – Women’s Doubles + Men’s Singles\nFriday 11/14 – Mixed Doubles\nSaturday 11/15 – Men’s Doubles + Women’s Singles\n\n\nUSSP has a points system to award prizes to the top finishers each year (USSP members only). In the past\, prizes with a retail value of $20\,000 were awarded to the top 10-point winners in each age group for both men and women on an annual cycle.\n\nNo cash prizes will be awarded.\n\nFORMATS:\n\nMASTERS DIVISION (50+55+60+)\n50 + – 64 / 3 teams will play a double round robin and not lead into playoffs. Medals awarded based on results. Games are 2 of 3 to 11 win by 2.\n50+ – 64 / 4\, 5 & 6 team brackets will play a straight round robin. 1 game to 15 win by 2. The top 4 teams will move forward. 1 vs 4 and 2 vs 3. Games to 15 win by 2 The winners will play for gold/silver and losers play for bronze. The gold/silver will be best 2 of 3 to 11 win by 2 and the bronze match will be 1 game to 15 win by 2.\n50+ – 64 / 7\, 8 & 9 team brackets will play a straight round robin\, 1 game to 15 win by 2. The top 4 teams will move forward. 1 vs 2 for gold/silver – will be best 2 of 3 to 11 win by 2\, and 3 vs 4 for bronze with 1 game to 15 win by 2.\n50+ – 64 / 10+ teams will play pool play. 1 game to 15 win by 2. The top 2 teams from each pool will move forward. 1 vs 2 and 2 vs 1 will play 1 game to 15 win by 2. All refunds will be charged a $15 processing fee.
