DESCRIPTION:Tournament Description\n\n\nREGISTRATION CLOSING FRIDAY AFTERNOON\, AUGUST 7TH…WILL REOPEN AUGUST 17TH.\n\nA special thank you to Humana for being the title sponsor for the USSP Championship Series of tournaments for 2026.\n\nUSSP National Championship is an Age/Skill tournament for ages 50+. Events will be held for Men’s and Women’s singles and doubles as well as Mixed Doubles. After registration closes\, events will be split into 5-year age/skill groups for medaling purposes. Age groups/skill levels may be combined for bracketing. ALL EVENT BRACKET DETAILS ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE BASED ON REGISTRATION. PLEASE REVIEW ONCE EVENTS HAVE BEEN VERIFIED.\n\nRegistration is $85 plus $20 for each event July / August / September which includes your USSP discount\nRegistration is $100 plus $20 for each event October / November which includes your USSP discount\n\nRegistration opens on July 1st\, 2026 and closes on November 15\, 2026.\n\n************************************************************************************\nHow do players qualify for the 2026 USSP National Championship\, and what is the registration process?\n\nPreregistration opportunities are available to players who compete and medal at the USSP Zone Championships.\nA USSP membership is required to compete at the US Senior Pickleball National Championship at Casa Grande\, AZ Nov 30-Dec 5\, 2026\n\nUSSP Zone Championship medalists are qualified to pre-register on July 1\, 2026 to July 15\, 2026 for the 2026 US Senior Pickleball National Championships. Those players will receive an email prior to the opening of registration with instructions on how to register.\n\nOpen registration will begin on July 20\, 2026 for all Regional and Zone Championship participants.\n\nRegistration will open up to Circuit Series participants beginning August 17\, 2026. You must have competed in a Circuit\, Regional or Zone Championship to be eligible to register and play at the 2026 USSP National Championship.\nRegister: https://pickleballtournaments.com/tournaments/2026-ussp-national-championship-presented-by-humana\n—\n\nTo join USSP\, go to https://www.usseniorpickleball.org/\, only $20 per year. Multi-year payment discounts available.\n\nThe tournament will limit registration to 1000 players\, or when the tournament director deems the day’s events are full.\n\nBrackets/Events will be round robin with pool play for events with large numbers of teams\, single elimination brackets to follow. Players are guaranteed 4 matches per event. More play for your money\n\n\n\n\nAdditional Information\n\n\nUSSP has a points system to award prizes to the top finishers each year (USSP members only). In the past\, prizes with a retail value of $20\,000 were awarded to the top 10-point winners in each age group for both men and women on an annual cycle.\n\nNo cash will be awarded.\n\nFORMATS:\n\nMASTERS DIVISION (50+55+60+)\n50 + – 64 / 3 teams will play a double round robin and not lead into playoffs. Medals awarded based on results. Games are 2 of 3 to 11 win by 2.\n50+ – 64 / 4\, 5 & 6 team brackets will play a straight round robin. 1 game to 15 win by 2. The top 4 teams will move forward. 1 vs 4 and 2 vs 3. Games to 15 win by 2 The winners will play for gold/silver and losers play for bronze. The gold/silver will be best 2 of 3 to 11 win by 2 and the bronze match will be 1 game to 15 win by 2.\n50+ – 64 / 7\, 8 & 9 team brackets will play a straight round robin\, 1 game to 11 win by 2. The top 4 teams will move forward. 1 vs 2 for gold/silver – will be best 2 of 3 to 11 win by 2\, and 3 vs 4 for bronze with 1 game to 15 win by 2.\n50+ – 64 / 10+ teams will play pool play. 1 game to 15 win by 2. The top 2 teams from each pool will move forward. 1 vs 2 and 2 vs 1 will play 1 game to 15 win by 2. The top 4 teams will move forward. 1 vs 2 for gold/silver – games will be 2 of 3 to 11 win by 2 and 3 vs 4 for bronze with 1 game to 15 win by 2.\n65+ – 80+ / 8+ team brackets will play pool play. Top 2 teams from each pool will move forward. 1 vs 2 and 2 vs 1 with 1 game to 15 win by 2. Winners will play for gold/silver – games 2 of 3 to 11 win by 2 and bronze will play 1 game to 15 win by 2.\n\n\n\n\nRefund Policy\n\n\nRefunds will be available up to 2 weeks after the tournament registration closing. All refunds will be charged a $15 processing fee.
