AGE SPLITS WILL BE COMPLETED AFTER REGISTRATION CLOSES. If Ages are combined medals will be awarded to players in each 5 year age split. Events will be held for Men’s and Women’s singles and doubles as well as Mixed Doubles. \nRegistration plus $15 for each event. USSP/SSIPA members will receive a $10 discount. Registration opens on June 1st\, 2024 and closes on October 15th\, 2024. \nThis tournament is US Senior Pickleball approved. \nTo join USSP\, go to USSeniorPickleball.com\, only $20 per year. Multi-year payment discounts available. \nThe tournament will limit registration to 600 players\, or when the tournament director deems the day’s events are full. \nBrackets/Events will be round robin with pool play for events with large numbers of teams\, single elimination brackets to follow. Players are guaranteed 4 matches per event. More play for your money\, \nFriday 11/1 Women’s Doubles & Men’s Singles\nSaturday 11/2 Mixed Doubles\nSunday 11/3 Men’s Doubles & Women’s Singles \nBrackets/Events will be round robin ONLY (Pool play for events split into pools – usually 8 or more teams\, single elimination brackets to follow.) \nPlayers are guaranteed 3 matches per event. \nThe Tournament Director Reserves the right to change the format of play as needed. \n\n\nAdditional Information\nUSSP has a points system to award prizes to the top finishers each year (USSP members only). The number of teams or players will determine the format of play. \nThe Round Robin results must be determined following the USA Pickleball Rulebook: \nRule12.C.3. Round Robin. \nAll players or teams play each other. Games may use any of the approved tournament scoring options. (See Rule 12.B.) \nThe winner is determined based on number of matches won. If two or more teams are tied: \n12.C.3.a. First tie-breaker: head-to-head matches won. \n12.C.3.b. Second tie-breaker: point differential of all games played. (e.g.\, Team A won Match 1 11-8\, 11-4\, so they would have a point differential of +10. Team A then wins the second match 11-9\, 2-11\, 11-6. For this round\, they would have a point differential of -2. This would give them a total for the day of +8.)\n12.C.3.c. Third tie-breaker: head-to-head point differential. \n12.C.3.d.
