The top four teams move forward to the playoffs. 1 v 4 & 2 v 3: these are the “lead-in” matches that require a referee. Winners play each other for gold. Both non winners play for bronze in the same 1-15 win by 2 switch at 8 format. \n8 or more teams are split into pools. The matches depend on the number of teams (see above). Only the top two from each pool move forward. It’s a crisscross playoff. Pool 1 1st team vs Pool 2 2nd team and at the same time Pool 1 2nd team vs Pool 2 1st team. Those games are 1-15 win by 2 switches at 8. Winners play each other for gold. Both non winners play for bronze in the same 1-15 win by 2 switches at 8 formats. \nIf any division has 15 teams or more\, that will likely be broken into 3 or more pools. (I have many players are asking to play up to “fix” their rating… so no combined medals are awarded). \nUSSP Senior Days are Thursday and Friday.
