AGE SPLITS WILL BE COMPLETED AFTER REGISTRATION CLOSES. If Ages are combined medals will be awarded to players in each 5 year age split. Events will be held for Men’s and Women’s singles and doubles as well as Mixed Doubles. \nRegistration plus $15 for each event. USSP/SSIPA members will receive a $10 discount. Registration opens on June 1st\, 2024 and closes on October 15th\, 2024. \nThis tournament is US Senior Pickleball approved. \nTo join USSP\, go to USSeniorPickleball.com\, only $20 per year. Multi-year payment discounts available. \nThe tournament will limit registration to 600 players\, or when the tournament director deems the day’s events are full. \nBrackets/Events will be round robin with pool play for events with large numbers of teams\, single elimination brackets to follow. Age brackets will be determined following the close of registration\, but will strive to be close to under 50\, 50-59\, & 60+ events. \nPlayers will self-rate and cannot play lower than their USA Pickleball Tournament Player Rating (UTPR). Players may only play up in skill .5 from their profile rating. Tournament Director reserves the right to correct underrated players. \nIndoor play on up to 10 temporary courts on a tennis surface \nPickleball Is Great reserves the right to refuse service at anytime \nUsing the X-40 ball \n\n\nAdditional Information\nPayment is required to register – Early registration $45 + $15/event through July 31. Standard registration $60 + $15/event through Nov 13. After registration closes (beginning Nov 14)\, late registration will be $75 + $15/event. \nPartner must register within 7 days or be moved to the waitlist\n(Age breaks based on registration\, but will strive to be close to under 50\, 50+\, 60+) \nFriday – Women’s Doubles / Men’s Singles (mini singles)\nSaturday – Mixed Doubles\nSunday – Men’s Doubles / Women’s Singles (mini singles) \nFormat:\nALL Round Robin with playoffs for Gold/Silver/Bronze. All games/matches are win by 2\nMost Round Robins are 1 to 15 but may change based on the number of players in the event. If an event has 7 or 8 teams\, round-robin matches will be 1 to 11 by 2.\nTop 4 teams go to the playoff (Lead in matches are 1 to 15 with the Gold Match with the option of 2/3-11w/2 or 1 to 15.
