The 2024 Bay Area Encore Senior Games Pickleball Tournament is an Age based tournament for Players 50 and up. This is a Qualifier event for the NSGA in 2025 in Des Moines, Iowa.

ALL ROUND ROBIN with PLAYOFFS for gold/silver/bronze medals

The three skill levels of Recreational (3.0) & Intermediate (3.5) & Advanced (4.0+) follows the National Senior Games rules. The age groups are 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, 85-89, & 90+

The FUN (2.5/3.0) division is non qualifying

You are eligible to play if you will be 50 on or before Dec 31, 2024

Friday, August 30th – FULL Men’s and Women’s Singles

Saturday, August 31st – Men’s Doubles

Sunday, September 1st – Mixed Doubles

Monday, September 2nd – Women’s Doubles

USSP – MORE IN 2024 – EACH REGISTERED PLAYER THAT PLAYS THIS TOURNAMENT WILL RECEIVE A FREE USSP MEMBERSHIP. ONLY NEW MEMBERS ARE ELIGIBLE. CURRENT AND PAST MEMBERS ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR THIS PROMOTION.

No Membership in any association is required for registration.

This tournament is US Senior Pickleball approved.

To join USSP, go to USSeniorPickleball.com, only $20 per year. Multi-year payment discounts available.

USSP members will receive a $10 discount off the registration fee (If you add your membership# in your profile of pickleballbrackets.com) and are eligible for points and prizes. Go to the USSP website listed above for more information on the points system.

Additional Information

Registration Fee for the 2024 Bay Area Encore Senior Games: NEW EARLY REGISTRATION $55 per person if you pay and register in May. The fee is $65 per person and $15 per event for June. July is $80 per person plus the event fees. If you have already registered (for another 2023 BASG sports event – such as track & field, swimming, racquetball, etc.) on the 2023 Bay Area Encore Senior Games website, please do not pay the $65 BASG registration fee again on pickleballbrackets.com. You will only need to pay $15 per additional event. However, you will have to contact me (Mike at pickleballisgreat@gmail.com) and let me know that you have already registered for the Bay Area Senior Encore Games so I can enter you as paid.

Participants are not confirmed in the tournament until they have registered (doubles partner must register within 7 days or be moved to the waitlist

Refund Policy

All refunds will have a $10 admin fee up until 8/15/24

After 8/15/24 only 50% may be refunded

If there is a cancellation due to weather up to 50% of the fees will be refunded.

We reserve the right to refuse service at any time.

Format and bracket combination may change as needed based on the tournament director.
