Tournament Description

Come experience the Big Island of Hawai’i, the spirit of Aloha, and the best pickleball facility in the state!
FORMAT: Round robin tournament, including a single elimination playoff bracket for Gold, Silver and Bronze in each division.
All players are guaranteed a minimum of 4 matches.

Make up Rain Day + Open Play
(This day is also a make up day for any event that gets rained out)
Round robin brackets or pools with 5 or 6 teams will play single games to 15, win by 1. Brackets or pools with 7 or 8 teams will play single games to 11, win by 1. Bronze medal match will be one game to 15, win by 2. Gold medal match will be best two out of three to 11, win by 2.
Pro and senior pro playoff games for Medals will be best two out of three to 11, win by 2.
Events are organized such that players can potentially sign up for a total of 4 events.
Example: A player entered in 3.5 gender and mixed could also enter into 4.0 gender and mixed as they are on separate days.

The Hawaiian Cup will be following all USAPA rules.

Refund Policy

January 1st, 2026 – CANCELLATION DEADLINE (for refunds minus a $25 withdrawal fee)
up to 50% refund after the cancellation deadline above.
It’s an outdoor tournament – every effort will be made to complete matches on the same date – there is a Weather Fund of up to 50%.

Prize Money

6 Divisions have planned Prize Pools – only a 4 team minimum:
seeding based on DUPR on 1/1/26
$600 Prize Pools when 4 teams play Round Robin = 2/3 to 11 w/2 no playoffs
$800 Prize Pools when 6 teams play Round Robin 1/15 w/2 with playoffs (only Gold & Bronze 2/3 to11 w/2)
$1000 Prize Pools when 8 teams play Double Elimination
$1200 Prize Pools when 10 teams play Double Elimination
$1400 Prize Pools when 12 teams play Double Elimination – TOP 4 PLACES PAID
$1600 Prize Pools when 14 teams play Double Elimination – TOP 4 PLACES PAID
$1800 Prize Pools when 16 teams play Double Elimination – TOP 4 PLACES PAID

Parking Information
Parking Fee: No Fee
Please carpool Upper level parking is available on the roof of the parking lot. Parking underground is restricted for Holua Resort guests only and must have a parking pass. Absolutely no parking in front of the guest check in building. Street parking on Kaleiopapa is shared with the farmer’s market on some days, and the businesses that operate out of the bay. We want to treat our neighbors with respect as well, so we are hoping not to overwhelm the street parking out on Kaleiopapa. Uber or Taxi to the venue . This will be a much easier way to arrive and depart. Arrange for you to be dropped off or picked up. Ride your bike. The most Aloha way to arrive! Car Pool. If you must drive, please be considerate and try to car-pool to the event. Please budget travel time accordingly so you arrive in plenty of time to check in and be ready for your bracket…1 hour is best as we will start matches early whenever possible.
