AUGUST 7, 2024 – WOODEN PADDLE TOURNAMENT, SENIORS MIXED DOUBLES 60+ & 70+
Play pickleball like it was originally played. Participants get a limited edition wooden paddle. The wood paddle will be in the afternoon after the Senior Mixed Doubles events.

AUGUST 8, 2024 – SENIORS MEN’S & WOMEN’S DOUBLES 60+ & 70+
AUGUST 9, 2024 – WOMEN’S DOUBLES 8-49 & 50+
AUGUST 10, 2024 – MIXED DOUBLES 8-49 & 50+
AUGUST 11, 2024 – MEN’S DOUBLES 8-49 & 50+

Format
This is a skill/age tournament.
This tournament will be all round-robin with a shootout of the top THREE or FOUR teams (to be determined by time/number of players within the event) for gold, silver, & bronze medals (for a non-pool event). Winning teams are determined by:

1. Round-robin win/loss record
2. If two teams tied, head-to-head with those teams involved
3. If three or more teams tied, point differential of all games played.

If an event has 8 or more teams, the event may be divided into two pools with the top two teams from each pool taking part within the shootout.

The top team from Pool 1 will play second team from Pool 2 and the top team from Pool 2 will play second team from Pool 1. The winning teams will play each other for gold/silver. Losing teams will play each other for bronze.

Brackets may be combined or split as needed.

Partner tip – If you are playing with a partner in a higher/lower skill or higher/lower age – please remember to register in the highest skill and lowest age.

Pickleball Is Great reserves the right to refuse service and refund any player at anytime.

Refund Policy

Withdrawals before registration closes July 31, 2024 will incur a $15 admin fee.

Any refund after 7/31/24 will be at 50%

Weather Refund policy is up to 50%
