Save the Date for Cascadia Pickleball Zone’s first tournament (July 18-19)

Join us as we celebrate Cascadia Pickleball Zone’s 1-Year Anniversary with a weekend of competitive pickleball on the Southern Oregon Coast.

Turn it into a coastal getaway—play pickleball, explore beautiful beaches, and take in the scenic Southern Oregon coast. Very limited on-site RV parking available for tournament players – $25 per night, no hookups. Email cascadiapickleballzone@gmail.com for availability and details.

Round Robin format WITH playoffs for Gold/Silver/Bronze for skills 3.0-4.0+. Final age brackets will be determined following the close of registration, but will strive to be close to under 50 / 50+

***Very Important – Ratings (NO DUPR scores reported/DUPR NOT required):

• Even though DUPR is the only rating listed for public view, we are using DUPR only as a guideline. All rating systems have their pros and cons. Players will self-rate and we will also be using your previous tournament history as our determinant

• Please update your self-rating in your software profile before you register. You may only play up .5 from your self-rating

• If you feel that a player is playing out of their skill, please contact the tournament director. We will then evaluate tournament history and various ratings (including DUPR) to determine if a player/team needs to play at a different skill. Please be aware that this is a manual process and does not happen automatically

Indoor play on up to 5 dedicated pickleball courts

Payment is required to register – Early registration (MAY) $55 includes first event + $15/second event ; Standard registration (JUNE-JULY 10) $65 includes first event + $15/second event

Late registration (after deadline) $75 includes first events + $15/second event

Partner must register within 7 days or be moved to the waitlist

Saturday, July 18 – Men’s & Women’s Doubles (skills 3.0-4.0+)

Sunday, July 19 – Mixed Doubles (skills 3.0-4.0+)

Format:

ALL Round Robin with playoffs for Gold/Silver/Bronze. All games/matches are win by 2

Most Round Robins are 1 to 15 but may change based on the number of players in the event. If an event has 7 or 8 teams, round-robin matches will be 1 to 11 by 2.

Top 4 teams go to the playoff (Lead in matches are 1 to 15 with the Gold Match with the option of 2/3-11w/2 or 1 to 15. Bronze Match 1 to 15.

TD may combine brackets as needed to ensure quality play.

Tournament may close at any time if maximum daily numbers are met (even if some events appear to have openings)

$15 refund fee. No refunds after close of registration.

If any event is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances there will be up to a 50% refund

Software service fees are not refundable, even if the tournament/event is cancelled.
